Giving back is something we encourage and celebrate here at Organise.Curate.Design., and we want to shine a spotlight on an organisation we hold close to our hearts – Project Gen Z.
Caroline has just returned from Cambodia where she was a part of the Project Gen Z team, she worked with children at Sunrise Cambodia to teach them to dare to dream in workshops, acting as a coach & mentor to help students build their own businesses. Project Gen Z has had an amazing impact on the children of Cambodia, with 90% of the children in the program getting a job, 10 graduates going on to run their own businesses and a 21.5% increase in students going on to higher education and university.
Since 2015 this powerful movement of entrepreneurs have educated over 400 students in Cambodia, raised $500,000 and have inspired many students to further their education and start their own businesses.
In 2017 Project Gen Z launched the dare to dream workshop series in Australia, and now Project Gen Z and the dream team of successful business owners visit schools, and run holiday bootcamps to inspire, educate and activate the next generation of world changers. So far, the team have inspired over 5,000 young Aussies to Dare to Dream.
It is important to give back whatever we can, whenever we can, especially to communities in need, and we encourage you to find a way to give back too!
